Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik took a crucial move on Friday, before the 2024 elections, expanding the state’s extremely successful Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) health guarantee program to include more than 90% of the population. During the original period of BSKY, services in public health facilities were offered free of charge to everyone, regardless of domicile or income. During the second phase, private hospitals were able to provide cashless medical treatment.
Every month, 1.3 lakh individuals receive cashless care in private hospitals, and over 45 lakh people receive free healthcare at state-run public institutions under the program. In private hospitals with impaneled systems, this amounts to Rs 260 crore every month. Over the last five years, BSKY has provided cashless medical services to over 21 lakh patients in private hospitals, totaling over Rs 4,500 crore.

- On the homepage, click on the Apply for BSKY Nabin Card Option
- Now, a new page will open on your screen.
- Here, enter your name, and your mobile number
- After that, click on the GET OTP button
- You will receive an OTP to your registered mobile number.
- Enter the received OTP in the OTP box for verification.
- After successful verification, the registration form will open on your screen
- Now, fill in the form with all the required details
- Finally, click on the Submit button.
