Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to apply for any of the various scholarship programs offered by the LIC Corporation, the candidate must meet the requirements listed below:-

LIC HFL Vidyadhan Scholarship for Class 10 Passed Students
- Students should be enrolled in Class 11 at any recognized institution in India.
- Applicants must have scored more than 60% marks in their Class 10 board examination.
- The applicant’s family income must not exceed INR 3,60,000 per annum from all sources.
- Children with COVID who have lost any of their earning family members or parents since January 2020 or whose earning family member(s) have lost their livelihood or employment due to the pandemic will be given preference.
LIC HFL Vidyadhan Scholarship for Graduation
- Students should be enrolled in the first year of a 3-year graduation program (in any stream) at any recognized college/university/institution in India.
- Applicants must have scored at least 60% marks in their Class 12 board examination.
- The applicant’s family income must not exceed INR 3,60,000 per annum from all sources.
- Children with COVID who have lost any of their earning family members or parents since January 2020 or whose earning family member(s) have lost their livelihood or employment due to the pandemic will be given preference.

Selection Procedure

The Life Insurance Corporation will use a relatively straightforward selection process to choose recipients of the HFL Vidyadhan Award. The last phase of selection for this position will be a face-to-face interview. To be considered for this scholarship, the candidate must meet the following requirements:-

The merit of the applicant- 65% marks or above in the previous exam
Financial Need:- Students from lower-income group families will be preferred [Annual income below INR 3,00,000 (3 Lakhs)]
Crisis situation:- Students supported by single parents, orphans, students with critical/terminal parents, and students from families with job loss of earning members in the last 12 months.
