Reliance Foundation Scholarship 2023

The Reliance Foundation on Wednesday announced an additional 5000 merit scholarships for undergraduate students up to Rs 2 lakh and merit scholarships for postgraduate students up to Rs 6 lakh in honor of Dhirubhai Ambani’s 90th birthday. If you are studying undergraduate or postgraduate in 2023, you are eligible to apply for this award. To apply, you must submit the required paperwork by the deadline of October 15, 2023.

On the anniversary of Dhirubhai Ambani’s birth, the chairman of the Reliance Group launched the scholarship in an effort to give those pursuing higher education in India the right opportunity. People who are studying for UG and PG degrees in India can use this scholarship to help fund their education financially.

Objective

Reliance Foundation Scholarships’ mission is to support bright Indian youngsters and create a community of future academics who will represent India as tomorrow’s global leaders. Students who want to enroll in undergraduate and graduate programs will get financial aid through the Reliance Foundation Scholarship. The scholarship amount will be deposited immediately into the student’s bank account. Types of Scholarship

RF Undergraduate Scholarship:-

Reliance Foundation has launched undergraduate scholarship programs for Indian students who are unable to complete their studies. You may apply for a Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship if you have recently taken admission to any undergraduate program. The students who are unable to complete their studies would receive up to 2 lakh Rupees. Students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds are eligible to apply for the award. The candidates will be chosen by taking into consideration their income criteria. Before the deadline of October 15, 2023, students must submit their applications for the scholarship.

RF Postgraduate Scholarship:-

Students can apply for this scholarship program if they want to pursue a PG degree. Beneficiaries chosen for this scholarship program would get up to 6 lakh rupees in funding. Based on the income criteria, students will be chosen. To be chosen and get the advantages in accordance with the organization’s educational standards, students must adhere to them. Only students from the most disadvantaged socioeconomic groups are eligible for this grant. The PG degree application portal is not yet open.

UG Scholarship features are as follows:-

• The selection process will choose up to 5,000 undergraduate students.
• Over the course of the degree curriculum, there will be a total of up to INR 4 lakhs in scholarships available.

PG scholarship features are as follows:-

• Through a rigorous and difficult selection procedure, the Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships will find and choose the finest and brightest students in India.
• fostering the development of future leaders in India who can think broadly, sustainably, and digitally for the good of society.
• We encourage applications from people of all socioeconomic levels, and we will provide scholarships based solely on merit.
• There will be up to 100 postgraduate scholars chosen.
• Over the course of the degree study, there will be a total of up to Rs/INR 6 lakhs in scholarships available.
• At the beginning of each academic year, grants totaling 80% of the funds will be made available for tuition and other direct academic costs. Those who seek the remaining 20% of the funding will be able to use it to cover costs associated with conferences as well as indirect academic and personal development costs.
• A vibrant community of scholars will be at the forefront of forming and constructing a new India, and scholars will gain from additional engagement and development opportunities (such as the chance to attend talks and workshops with top global experts, opportunities to apply for mentoring/internships, volunteering opportunities, a strong alumni network, and more).

Eligible Degree Programme

Eligible UG and PG program:-

• Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics & Computing, Electrical/or Electronics Engg., Chemical Engg., Mechanical Engg., Renewable & New Energy, Material, Science & Engg. and Life Sciences.

Eligibility Criteria

For UG:-

• The applicant must be a resident Indian citizen.
• The applicant must have passed Standard 12 with a minimum of 60% and be attending a full-time undergraduate degree program In India.
• Students having HouseHold income < Rs 15 Lakhs (preference given to < Rs 2.5 Lakhs) are eligible.

For PG:-

• The applicant must be a resident Indian citizen
• Postgraduate Scholarship: First-year PG Students who secured a score of 550 – 1,000 in the GATE Examination.

OR

• Students who have not attempted GATE but have scored 7.5 or above in their Undergraduate CGPA (or % normalized to CGPA) are eligible.

• First, visit the Reliance Foundation scholarship portal.
• On the homepage, choose the Application Portal option.
• A new page will open on your screen
• Here, choose “Click here to complete the eligibility questionnaire”.
• You will receive an email with login information for the application site after providing the answers to all the questions as posed in the questionnaire.
• Then, enter the login ID & password and hit the login button.
• Now the application form will open on your screen.
• On this form, enter all the required details.
• Then, upload all the required documents.
• After that, complete the form and write the required essay (Personal Statement&Statement of Purpose)
• Before submission review the application form very carefully for any changes.
