Before applying for a birth certificate applicant have to check the birth details are available in Telangana birth records. To check the birth record you have to follow the given procedure below:

  • First of all, you have to visit the official website of the Unified Birth and Death Registration Management Information System.

  • Now on the right part of the home page, you have to click on Search Birth Detail on the Citizen section.
  • Now a new form will be open on your screen.

  • Now fill in all the details asked in the form such as Month and Year of Birth, Gender of a child, Name of father, mother, and child, Place of Birth Address at the time of Birth, Permanent Address, Hospital Name, etc.
  • And click on Submit.
  • If the birth detail of the child appears on your screen then you can apply for the birth certificate, if details did not appear then you cannot apply for the birth certificate.

How to Apply Online for A Birth Certificate in Telangana

To apply for a Birth Certificate, you have to follow the following procedure.

  • To register the birth of a child you have to visit the Meeseva Centre. Take the application form from the center or you can download the birth certificate from the given link below.
  • Now download and print out the Application Form.
  • Now fill in all the information asked in the application form carefully.
  • After filling the application form,  all important documents have to be attached with the application form.
  • Now you have to submit the application to the Meeseva Center by hospitals, medical institutions, or by the head of the family.
  • Then MeeSeva center operator will scan the documents and apply for a birth certificate online.
  • After that, you have to pay the application fee for the birth certificate, then the operator will provide you Application Id and Transaction receipt.
  • Then you have to choose the delivery mode of the certificate.
  • You can get the birth certificate directly from the Meeseva center or it will be sent to the registered address from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
  • After verification, if your application is accepted, you will get an SMS on the registered mobile number.
  • Meeseva center will provide you the birth certificate on the same day and it will take 5 days for sending the birth certificate by couriers.

In Case Of Late Registration Of Birth

For late registration, there is a separate application form.

  • You have to submit duly fill the application form and submit attached the required documents.

  • Documents required for late registration of birth are:
    • Non-availability certificate issued by the Grama Panchayat or Municipal Commissioner
    • Ration card or Food Security Card copy
    • SSC marks memo
    • A self-affidavit stating that the reason for late registration.
  • After the verification application form, the registrar will issue the birth certificate.

  • Now enter your Application number and click on Submit.
