Benefits 

Benefits availed under the PradhanMantri Kisan Karj Mafi Yojana are as follows:-

• The farmers of the country will get the benefit of this scheme.
• Under this scheme, more than 26 lakh farmers in the country will be free from the crop loans taken to them.
• Under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Karj Rahat Yojana, agricultural loans of small and marginal farmers of the country will be waived.
• The central government will provide loan redemption to individual small and marginal farmers.

Eligibility Criteria 

Applicants need to pass the following eligibility criteria in order to enroll themselves:-

• The farmer should be a resident of the country.
• The total area of ​​all land owned by small farmers shall not exceed 2 hectares and marginal farmers shall not exceed 1 hectare.
• Farmers whose crop loans were restructured due to natural calamities as per the guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will be covered under this scheme.
• Crop loans are taken by farmers for cultivation on land leased by the government, as per revenue records of the government.
