Griha Aadhar Scheme 2023
Griha Aadhaar Scheme 2023 is a major program launched by the Department of Women and Child Development in the state of Goa. This scheme aims to mitigate the impact of rising prices and provide necessary support to housewives and housewives coming from middle, lower-middle and economically deprived sections of the society. Through monthly disbursements, this initiative aims to ensure a decent standard of living for families across Goa.
Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹ 1,500/- per month will be provided to the beneficiaries. 3000 South Goa district beneficiaries of the Griha Aadhaar scheme were approved on Thursday.

Objectives Of The Griha Aadhar Scheme

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Griha Aadhar Scheme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- The applicant should be a married woman.
- The applicant should be above the age of 18 years.
- The applicant should be a resident of Goa and must have been living there for the last fifteen years.
- The combined gross income of the husband and wife should not exceed ₹3,00,000 per annum.
- Widows with minor children who are beneficiaries of the Dayanand Social Security Scheme (DSSS) are eligible.
- Not be recipients of benefits under the Dayanand Social Security Scheme (DSSS) if employed in specified government entities.
Exclusions For Griha Aadhar Scheme 2023
The Griha Aadhar Scheme does not apply to married women or their husbands who are employed in the following entities on a regular basis:
- Government of Goa or its corporations/autonomous organizations funded by the State Government.
- Government of India or any other State Government or its corporations/autonomous bodies.
- Scheduled Banks (excluding Co-operative Banks, subject to actual income in case of Co-operative Banks).

- Proof of Present Residential Address
- Residence Certificate (15 years) of Self (if a native of Goa) or Husband (if a non-native of Goa)
- Income Certificate issued by a competent authority
- Self-Declaration form attested by a Gazetted Officer
- Self-attested copy of Savings Bank Account Passbook
- Birth Certificate of the child (in case of a widow who is a DSSS beneficiary)
- Marriage Certificate issued by a competent authority

How To Apply For Griha Aadhar Scheme 2023?
- First of all, visit the official website of the Griha Aadhar scheme.
- On the homepage, click on Register.
- Now registration form will be open on your screen.
- Enter your email ID, mobile number, the captcha code and then click the generate OTP button
- Enter the received OTP.
- After completing registration, log in to the portal.
- Now click on the Services tab followed by All Service.
- Click on the Directorate of Women & Child Development followed by the Griha Aadhar Scheme.
- Complete the questionnaire regarding eligibility requirements.
- Now a Griha Aadhar Scheme application form will be open on your screen.
- Fill in all the details asked in the application form, and upload the required documents.
- After completing the application form click on the Save button and proceed to pay.
