• The aim of each type of merit scholarship will be allocated proportionally across all districts based on district population statistics.
• The final merit list or selection list of the student would be generated based on the aggregate percentage of marks received in the last qualifying examination from among the validated students in the corresponding merit category, district-wise.
• Students will be chosen in descending order of merit until the scholarship quota is reached.
• If there is a tie in the percentage of marks, the parental income ceiling will be considered, which indicates that pupils with lesser family income will receive precedence.
• The marks from the grading system will be converted to percentages by multiplying them by 9.5.
