Nabin Magic Card 2024
On Tuesday, the 5T Chairman announced the release of the “Nua-O Magic Smart Card” for state-eligible students. He was addressing a gathering in the Jajpur district during a Nua-O event. The plan, which has a budget of Rs 385 crore for financial years 2023-24 to 2025-26, will cover all 30 districts while prioritizing tribal and remote regions. 32,000 postgraduate students and around 4.5 lakh undergraduate students are expected to benefit from the Nua-O scholarship.

Odisha Magic Card Nabin Objectives
Students will get Nua-O Magic Smart Cards in August. Students enrolling in undergraduate and graduate programs at state universities, and government- and non-government-aided institutions, including Sanskrit colleges under the Higher Education department, are eligible for the Nua-O scholarship. The students would be ineligible for the award if their parents are permanent government workers or income taxpayers.
This will mark the beginning of a new chapter in student empowerment. By August, all qualified students will have received Nua-O magic smart cards, granting them access to free WiFi, online courses, skill development opportunities, and coaching programs. Pandian believes that by then, a corpus of Rs 300 crore will have been built.

According to Pandian, the cards would provide individuals with the following advantages:

- Skill development
- Coaching programmes and
- Discounts on bus and train travel,
- Note: Depending on their performance and participation in a variety of recreational and academic activities
Nabin Odisha Magic Card Features
- It is expected that the state government’s Nua-O scholarship plan will benefit around 4.5 lakh undergraduate students and 32,000 postgraduate students.
- Not all students will be able to obtain Nua-O Magic Smart Cards. Only chosen students will have access to it.
- Students will get Nua-O Magic Smart Cards in August.
Funds Established
Beginning with the next academic year, a Rs 300 core Nua-O corpus fund would be created. Students who excel in extracurricular activities and academics will get greater scholarships from this corpus fund.
Nua-O Magic Smart Cards Issuing Date
All qualified students who desire the card will have to wait for some time since the government has chosen to provide the card to students in the August month.
