Vikramaditya Yojana Scholarship 2024: The Department of Higher Education of the Government of Madhya Pradesh has started the Vikramaditya Free Education Scheme on the recommendation of the General Poor Class Welfare Commission. For those students who are interested in studies and due to economic conditions, face difficulties in getting an education, the Government of Madhya Pradesh has started a scholarship education scheme. The benefit of this scheme is provided to such students who are toppers in studies and are poor.
Vikramaditya Yojana Scholarship Objectives
- The objective of the scheme is to provide free higher education at the undergraduate level to the general poor students below the poverty line.
- Under the scheme, free education is provided at the undergraduate level to poor students who have secured more than 60 percent marks in the 12th board examination and the annual income of parents is 120000 (for higher education) or 54000 (for graduation).
- Students belonging to Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Backward Classes, and General Classes are entitled to the scheme provided they have annual marks and top marks in the twelfth board examination.
Vikramaditya Yojana Scholarship Eligibility
- Applicant must be a native of Madhya Pradesh
- The benefit of this scheme will be given only to the children studying in poor families.
- The annual family income of students of the general category should be Rs. 54000 / – (for graduation).
- The annual family income of the general category students should be Rs120000 (for higher education).
- 12th class must pass the first class (60%).
- There should be regular admission to the college.

An annual subsidy of maximum Rs 2500 or maximum 2500 / – exemption in tuition fee.

Vikramaditya Yojana Scholarship Online Process
- First of all, you have to go to the official website of the State Scholarship Portal 2.0. @ www.scholarship portal.mp.nic.in.
- After this, the homepage of the website will open in front of you.
- Scroll down the home page and check the Student Corner.
- Click on the link – “Register Yourself.”
- After this, a new page will open in front of you.
- On this page, you will be provided information about the new registration process in the session 2019-20.
- After reading all the information, you have to tick the box given in the declaration and click on the button “Continue”.
- After this, a new page will open in front of you. On this page, you have to enter your Aadhaar card number and click on the “Check & Verify” button.
- Now an application form will open in front of you. On this page, you have to record all the information asked.
- After registering all the information, you upload the required documents to the designated place.
- After checking the information you have entered, you can click on the Submit button given below.
- In this way, the application for MP Pratibha Kiran Yojana will be completed on the official website of your State Scholarship.
- On successful submission of the application, a registration number will be available on your mobile.
- Through which you will be able to check the status of your application from time to time.

- First of all, you have to go to the official website of the State Scholarship Portal 2.0. @ www.scholarshipportal.mp.nic.in.
- After this, the homepage of the website will open in front of you.
- On Homepage, click on the option of “Track Gaon ki Beti / Pratibha Kiran / Vikramaditya Yojna Application Status”.
- Select the Applicant ID and Academic Year received at the time of application and click on the button “Show My Application”.
- Now, the status of the scholarship application will appear on your computer and mobile screen.
Selection Process
- The official authority first checks all the application forms.
- After that, they provide scholarship amounts to selected students.
- The selection for the scholarship is based on marks in board exams and the needs of the student.
