The people of Madhya Pradesh will be happy to know that the Government of Madhya Pradesh has started a new scholarship scheme called Pratibha Kiran Yojana. The main objective of the scheme is to provide scholarships to the promising students of class XII because the government believes that very promising students are unable to study due to poverty. And because of this, they are unable to fulfill their dreams after studying.

This scholarship scheme is for girls and was started by the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chauhan. Under this scheme, the meritorious students of the Board of Secondary Education and CBSE / ICSE will be benefited by providing scholarships. If you are a resident of the urban area and have scored 60% or more in class 12 in your academic session 2019-20, then you can apply for this scheme in online mode.

The talented girls belonging to the urban poor want to pursue collegiate education but the fund crunch becomes a hurdle for them. The scheme has removed such impediments. The scholarship scheme provides financial support to girls who scored 60% or more marks in the 12th Board Exam. Students can apply online for this scholarship scheme through Madhya Pradesh Scholarship Portal 2.0.

Objectives of Madhya Pradesh Pratibha Kiran Yojana

1. The main objective of the “Pratibha Kiran Yojana” is to provide scholarships to promising female students of class 12.
2. This scholarship will be given to the girl students of families living Below the Poverty Line (BPL)
3. The objective of this scheme is to improve the educational standard of girls belonging to urban BPL families.
4. Every girl covered under the scheme is given Rs 500 per month for traditional courses and Rs 750 per month for technical and medical education for ten months.

Eligibility of Madhya Pradesh Pratibha Kiran Yojana

• Students must come from Urban areas in Madhya Pradesh.
• Only Girls are eligible for this scheme.
• The applicant is required to be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.
• Candidate must score 60% or more marks in the 12th Board Examination.
• The applicant must belong to a below-poverty-line family.
• The student must belong to the SC / ST / OBC / General category
• Girls must be admitted to graduate-level education.
• The applicant must have a bonafide of Madhya Pradesh.

Not Eligible 

• Boys are not eligible for this scheme.
• The income taxpayer will not be given the benefit of this scheme.
• If someone is employed in government service, They will not get the benefit of this scheme.

Benefits of Madhya Pradesh Pratibha Kiran Yojana

1. The benefit of this scheme is given to those students who have passed class 12 in first class from the school in the city.
2. Through this scheme, the meritorious students of the state, who leave their studies in the middle due to financial conditions, will be able to continue their further education smoothly.
3. On applying for this scholarship scheme, you will be given a scholarship of Rs 4000 (4 thousand rupees) per year.
4. Applicants will be able to use this support amount to get admission in all medical engineering colleges and other educational institutions identified in the government medical, engineering, management, law, and private sector.
5. The benefit will be given to the students who have secured more than 60% marks in the 12th standard examination of the Board of Secondary Education and CBSE / ICSE Board.
6. It is necessary to take admission for higher education only in the year to be passed.
7. Applicants are given an incentive of Rs 500 per month for 10 months and Rs 750 per month for technical and medical education courses for the traditional degree course.
8. Due to this scheme, Students who are promising will also be able to study and write something and can stand on their own feet.
9. With the benefit of the Pratibha Scholarship, poverty will no longer come in front of their studies.

Apply Process of Madhya Pradesh Pratibha Kiran Yojana

• First of all, you have to go to the official website of the State Scholarship Portal 2.0. @ www.scholarshipportal.mp.nic.in.
• After this, the homepage of the website will open in front of you.

• On the homepage of the website, you have to click on the option of “Register Yourself”.

• After this, a new page will open in front of you.
• On this page, you will be provided with information about the new registration process in the session 2019-20.
• After reading all the information, you have to tick the box given in the declaration and click on the button “Continue”.
• After this, a new page will open in front of you. On this page, you have to enter your Aadhaar card number and click on the “Check & Verify” button.

• Now an application form will open in front of you. On this page, you have to record all the information asked.

• After registering all the information, you upload the required documents to the designated place.
• After checking the information you have entered, you can click on the Submit button given below.
• In this way, the application for MP Pratibha Kiran Yojana will be completed on the official website of your State Scholarship.
• On successful submission of the application, a registration number will be available on your mobile.
• Through this you will be able to check the status of your application from time to time.

• First of all, you have to go to the official website of the State Scholarship Portal 2.0. @ www.scholarshipportal.mp.nic.in.
• After this, the homepage of the website will open in front of you.
• On the Homepage, click on the option of  “Track Gaon ki Beti / Pratibha Kiran / Vikramaditya Yojna Application Status”.

• Select the Applicant ID and Academic Year received at the time of application and click on the button “Show My Application”.

• Now, the status of the scholarship application will appear on your computer and mobile screen.

Selection Process

• The official authority first checks all the application forms.
• After that, they provide scholarship amounts to selected students.
• The selection for the scholarship is based on marks in board exams and the needs of the student.
