TS Shaadi Mubarak Scheme Application Verification

• Currently, the executive director, of TSMFC/Dist. minorities welfare officer, the minorities welfare department handles and verifies applications, but now the Tehsildar will be responsible for processing and confirming the submitted application.
• The beneficiary list must be approved by the legislative assembly member from the concerned constituency.
• The authorized list of beneficiaries will be kept on paper as a record.
• The beneficiary list will also be uploaded to the online system.
• Cheques will be issued to the recipient instead of the current procedure of sending funds to the beneficiary’s bank account.
• The approved list will be forwarded to the district minority welfare officer, who is in charge of preparing cheques.
• The cheques will be handed to the beneficiary once a week on a designated day by the appropriate constituency MLA. According to the MLA’s preference, at the mandal or taluk headquarters.
• A cross cheque will be issued in the name of the bride’s mother.
• The bride and groom must have their Aadhar cards scanned and submitted.
