PM Surya Ghar Yojana 2024
Urban local governments and panchayats would be urged to promote rooftop solar systems—solar energy on rooftops—within their authority to popularize the concept at the grassroots level. In addition, this proposal will raise income, reduce power bills, and create employment. - First, visit the official website i.e., https://pmsuryaghar.gov.in/.
- The homepage will open on your screen.
- Click on the Apply for rooftop solar option.
- A new page will open on your screen.
- Here, click on the Register Here option.
- Now, the registration form will open on your screen.
- Here, select your State, District, and Electricity Distribution Company
After that, enter your Electricity Consumer Number, Mobile Number, and email ID. - After that, click on the register button.
- Now, log in with your Consumer Number & Mobile Number.
- After that, an application form will open on your screen.
- Fill in all the required details on this form.
- After that, wait for DISCOM’s approval of the feasibility.
- Once you have received feasibility approval, installing the plant by any of the approved vendors in your DISCOM is possible.
- After the complete installation, apply for a net meter and submit the plant data.
- Through the portal, they will generate the commissioning certificate following the net meter installation and DISCOM inspection.
- After receiving the commissioning report, send the bank account information and a canceled cheque using the online portal.
- Finally, your subsidy will appear in your bank account in less than 30 days.
