Maharashtra Sharad Pawar Gramin Samridhi Yojana 

The scheme is named after the name of NCP chief Sharad Pawar Ji. It was launched on the day of his birth which is 12 December 2020. The scheme has been named after Sharad Pawar Ji to honor him on his date of birth. It was suggested by Maha Vikas Aghadi to name the scheme after Mr. Sharad Pawar. The scheme has been approved by the Ministry. Villages and farmer’s conditions will be developed through Maharashtra Sharad Pawar Gramin Samridhi Yojana 2021 and they will also be employed under this scheme.

Maharashtra Sharad Pawar Gramin Samridhi Yojana Objectives

Objectives of the scheme are as follows:-

• The main objective is to develop villages and improve farmers’ conditions.
• The village economy will improve through this scheme.
• The main target of the scheme is to double farmer’s income by 2022.

Rad Pawar Rural Prosperity Scheme will be linked to MNREGA

Maharashtra Sharad Pawar Gramin Samridhi Yojana will be implemented across Maharashtra in association with the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme. Employment provided under MNREGA will also be linked to the Maharashtra Sharad Pawar Gramin Samridhi Yojana. This scheme will be implemented by the Employment Guarantee Department. Through this scheme, the economy of the farmers and the village will be developed.

Construction of cowsheds and sheds 

Under this, cowsheds for cows will be constructed and sheds for goats and sheep will also be constructed. The government will also assist in opening poultry sheds under this scheme. Farmers with two animals will also be able to take advantage of Maharashtra Sharad Pawar Gramin Samridhi Yojana. Simultaneously, the government will help farmers to improve the quality of soil and farmers will be encouraged to use cattle as a fertilizer by storing urine and cow dung.

Eligibility Criteria

Benefits availed under this scheme are as follows:-

• Applicant must be a permanent resident of Maharashtra.
• Applicant must be resident of rural area.
• To apply under this scheme, it is mandatory for the applicant to be a farmers
