Eligibility Criteria

Post-Matric Scholarship for SBC Students’ Eligibility

Students studying post-matriculation education are eligible to apply.
Students must maintain 75% attendance for the current year.
Students who are working a full-time job or repeating the same course are not eligible to apply for the award.

Tuition Fees and Examination Fees to SBC Students, Maharashtra Eligibility

The scholarship is available to post-matriculation students enrolled in a government- or government-aided institution.
The students must have been admitted through the CAP process.
The family’s total annual income should not be more than INR 8 lakh.

Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Vasatigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna Eligibility

Children of Alpabhudarak and registered laborers are eligible for the scholarship.
The students must have applied for admission to a technical, professional, or non-professional program at the graduation or postgraduate level.
The family’s total annual income should not exceed INR 8 lakh.

Tuition Fees and Examination Fees to VJNT Students’ Eligibility

The scholarship is available to post-matriculation students enrolled in a government- or government-aided institution.
The students must have applied through the CAP procedure.

Education Concession to the Children of Ex-Servicemen Eligibility

The wards/widows/wives of Ex-Servicemen can apply for this scheme.

Vocational Education Maintenance Allowance to ST Students’ Eligibility

Students enrolled in vocational programs may apply.
The prior test must have been passed by them.

Vocational Education Fee Reimbursement Eligibility

The students enrolled in technical programs including Vaastu Shastra, Pharmacy, Engineering, MBA, and MCA.
The family’s total annual income should not be higher than INR 2.5 lakh.

Jawaharlal Nehru University Scheme, Maharastra Eligibility

Students enrolled in graduate or postgraduate programs may apply.
They have to have applied for admission to JNU.

Education Concession to Children of Freedom Fighters, Maharashtra Eligibility

Wards/Widows/Wives of freedom fighters can apply for this scheme.
They must be studying in Maharashtra only.

Government Research Adhichatra, Maharashtra Eligibility

The scholarship is available for postgraduate students.
They must be enrolled in Maharashtra only at one of the following institutions:–
- Govt. Science Institute (Mumbai, Nagpur, Aurangabad)
- Govt. Vidarbha Gyan Vidnyan Science Institute (Amravati)
- Vasant Rao Naik Mahavidyalaya College (Nagpur)
- Universities and affiliated colleges
They must have graduated with a grade point average of at least 60%.

Maintenance Allowance for SC Students in Professional Courses, Maharashtra Eligibility

Students enrolled in professional courses are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
The students must possess a Government of India scholarship and live in a hostel.
The family’s total annual income should be less than INR 2.5 lakh.

Maintenance Allowance to VJNT and SBC Students in Professional Courses, Maharashtra Eligibility

Students studying professional programs in fields such as engineering, medicine, animal husbandry, etc. can apply for the scholarship
The candidate has to be a resident of a government hostel that is connected to a professional college.
The household should earn less than or equivalent to INR 1 lakh per year.

Government Vidyaniketan Scholarship, Maharashtra Eligibility

Only students who have finished class 10 at Government Vidyaniketan are eligible for the scholarship.
They must have earned a 60% on their class 10 final exam.

Post Matric Scholarship to OBC Students, Maharashtra Eligibility

Students doing post-matriculation studies are eligible to apply.

Post-Matric Scholarship for Persons with Disability, Maharashtra Eligibility

Students with disabilities in grades 11 through graduate level may apply.

Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Merit Scholarship, Maharashtra Eligibility

Students from scheduled castes are eligible to apply.
The candidates must have obtained admission to Class 11 and completed the SSC examination with at least a 75% grade point average.
There is no income limit for this scholarship.

Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulk Shishyavrutti Yojna, Maharashtra Eligibility

Students who have accepted admission to a professional or non-professional program are eligible to apply for the award.

Post-Matric Scholarship to VJNT Students, Maharashtra Eligibility

Students studying post-matriculation courses are eligible to apply for this award.

State Government Daxshina Adhichatra Scholarship, Maharashtra Eligibility

Graduate students from non-agricultural universities are eligible for the scholarship.
They must be studying in Maharashtra only.

Eklavya Scholarship, Maharashtra Eligibility

Students who have earned their diplomas in the arts, sciences, law, or business streams and have enrolled in a postgraduate program are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
They must get at least 60% (for the arts, business, and law streams) and 70% (for the scientific streams) of the total possible marks.
Students working either full-time or part-time are ineligible to apply.
The annual income of the family should not exceed INR 75,000 from all sources.

Students who have completed matriculating or have passed the SSC are eligible for this scholarship.

Maharashtra Scholarship Online Application Process

Registration

Both UID-based and Non-UID-based registration options are available to the students:-

UID-Based Registration:-

Visit the official website of mahadbt: mahadbt.maharashtra.gov.in
Here click on “New Applicant Registration”
Then, click on “Yes” and enter the Aadhaar number to proceed.
Authenticate the Aadhaar details either by using OTP (through a linked mobile number) or by using Biometric (if the mobile number is not linked with Aadhaar)
After that, fill in all the required details on the registration form.
Create a username and password to log in.
Verify the email ID and mobile number through OTP for successful registration.
Finally, save all details and proceed.

Non-UID-Based Registration:-

First, visit the Mahadbt scholarship website.
Here, click on “New Applicant Registration”.
Then, click on “No” and register either by using the Aadhaar enrolment ID or by knowing the current status of the Aadhaar number.
Fill in all required details asked in the form.
After that, verify the email ID and mobile number through OTP for successful registration.
Then, create your username and password to log in.
Upload the photograph as specified and other supporting documents (identity proof, address proof, and birth proof).
Finally, click on “Register” to complete the registration.

Login

After successfully registration, the applicant can log in to the Mahadbt scholarship portal by clicking on “Applicant login”.
Then, enter your registered username and password to log in.
In case, you forget the password, click on the “Forget password” button to retrieve it.

Maharashtra scholarships Apply Through the User Dashboard

After successfully logging in.
Now, click on “Profile” to update the profile.
If the profile is 100% complete, you get the list of suggested eligible scholarship schemes.
Select the scholarship you want to apply for.
Then, click on the “Apply” button to proceed with the scholarship application.
Enter all necessary information and upload supporting documents (if required).
Finally, submit the application.

Candidates can check the status of their application by clicking on “Applied Schemes”
- If the application is under scrutiny, it will be visible under the head of “Under Scrutiny Applications”
- If the application is approved, it will be visible under the head of “Approved Applications”
- If the application is rejected, it will be visible under the head of “Rejected Applications”
