On 22 November the chief minister of Tamil Nadu Mr. K Palaniswami has announced Amma Mini Clinic Scheme. The state government has started this scheme to provide quality medical facilities to the economically weaker section families of the state. Under this scheme, the state government has officially launched 2,000 mini-clinics located across the state.  There are a lot of people who cannot afford medical facilities in private hospitals now they can get the same treatment in Amma Mini Clinic. The state government will set up this mini-clinic near the residence where low-income people live. Each clinic premises is staffed by a physician, a registered nurse, and other qualified medical professionals.
