Bihar Mukhyamantri Bal Sahayata Yojana 

Bihar Mukhyamantri Bal Sahayata Yojana has been started on 30 May 2021 by the Chief Minister of Bihar, Shri Nitish Kumar. Through this scheme, all those children whose parents have died due to coronavirus infection will be provided financial assistance of ₹ 1500 to all such children till they attain the age of 18 years. Apart from this, all the children who do not have guardians will also be looked after through the Children’s Home. Orphan girls will be provided enrollment in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Residential School.

Bihar Bal Sahayata Yojana Objectives

The main motive of Bihar Mukhyamantri Bal Sahayata Yojana are a follows:-

• The main objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to the children orphaned due to coronavirus infection so that they can overcome the financial crisis.
• With the help of this scheme, children will not need to depend on others for their maintenance and can live independently.
• They will become self-reliant and their standard of living will also improve with the financial assistance received through this scheme.
• Along with this, through Mukhyamantri Bal Sahayata Yojana, a residential facility will also be provided to those children who do not have a guardian so that a housing facility can be provided to the homeless children.

 Mukhyamantri Bal Sahayata Yojana Benefits 

Benefits availed under Bal Sahayata Yojana are as follows:-

• Through this scheme, financial assistance of ₹ 1500 will be provided to the children orphaned due to coronavirus infection.
• Orphaned girls will be provided enrollment in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Residential School.
• Along with financial assistance, residential assistance will also be provided to those children who do not have a guardian. This housing assistance will be provided through Bulgaria.
• Only children below the age of 18 years can avail the benefit of Bihar Mukhyamantri Bal Sahayata Yojana.

Eligibility Criteria 

Applicants need to pass the following eligibility criteria to enroll for Bihar Mukhyamantri Bal Sahayata Yojana:-

• The applicant should be a permanent resident of Bihar.
• Applicant’s age should be 18 years or less than 18 years.
