  • On 22 November the chief minister of Tamil Nadu Mr. K Palaniswami announced the Amma Mini Clinic Scheme. The state government has started this scheme to provide quality medical facilities to the economically weaker section families of the state.
  • Under this scheme, the state government has officially launched 2,000 mini-clinics located across the state. 
  • There are a lot of people who cannot afford medical facilities in private hospitals now they can get the same treatment in Amma Mini Clinic.
