Odisha Prerana Scholarship 2023

There are many students in the world who are not able to afford their studies due to financial problems So keeping this in mind the Government of Odisha will grant a Scholarship to all the needy and poor students.  The Government will give financial assistance to students for their further examinations as the scholarship cash isn’t required to be repaid. Under this scheme students who fall under  SC/ST/OBC/General/Minority, categories will be benefited.

Prerana Scholarship Scheme Odisha Lists

The list of scholarships under the Prerana Scholarship are stated below:-

Scholarship Name:-Post-matric Scholarship for SC

• Application Period:-August – October
• Awards:- Actual tuition fee/course fee, admission fee, library & sports fee, and maintenance allowance of up to INR 550 for day scholars & INR 1,200 for hostellers.

Scholarship Name:-Post-matric Scholarship for ST

• Application Period:-August – October
• Awards:-Actual tuition fee/course fee, admission fee, library & sports fee, and maintenance allowance of up to INR 550 for day scholars & INR 1,200 for hostellers.

Scholarship Name:-Post-matric Scholarship for OBC/SEBC

• Application Period:-August – October
• Award:-Actual tuition fee/course fee, admission fee, library & sports fee, and maintenance allowance of up to INR 350 for day scholars & INR 750 for hostellers.

Scholarship Name:-Post-matric Scholarship for EBC

• Application Period:-August – October
• Award:-Actual tuition fee/course fee, admission fee, library & sports fee, and maintenance allowance of up to INR 350 for day scholars & INR 750 for hostellers.

Compensation Under Prerana Scholarship 2023

The following compensation is available under the Prerana Scholarship Scheme:-

• There is a 100% course fee indemnify for General Courses.
• Rs.28500/- will be given for Technical.
• Additionally, Monthly Maintenance Amounts will be provided to all students.

The following documents are required for the enrollment of the  Prerana Scholarship Odisha:-

• Aadhaar Card
• Domicile
• Cast Certificate (For Minority Self declaration)
• Income Certificate
• Bank Details of students (should be linked with Aadhar card)
• Previous Class Mark Sheet
• Fee Receipt

Eligibility Criteria for Odisha Prerana Scholarship

The applicant needs to pass the following eligibility criteria in order to enroll themselves:-

• An applicant must be a resident of Odisha.
• The applicant must belong to backward categories (ST/SC/OBC/Other Minority).
• The annual household income of the applicant must be as follows-
• In the case of SC/ST students, the income should not exceed Rs.2,50,000/- per annum.
• In the case of OBC/SEBC students, the income should not exceed Rs.1,50,000/-  per annum.
• In the case of EBC students, the income should not exceed Rs.1,00,000/-  per annum.
• The applicant must have scored at least 50% off marks in the previous examination.

Follow the following steps to enroll yourself for the Prerana Scholarship:-

Firstly go to the official website.

• On the homepage, click on the ‘Login’ tab.
• If you have already registered yourself log in using your ‘Student Applicant Id’ and ‘Password’.
• If you are not registered, click on the link called ‘‘New Students: Please Register Yourself
• Fill in all the educational, personal details, bank account details.
• Click on the submit button.
