On 01 September 2023, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant launched the Chief Minister Financial Assistance for LPG Cylinder Refilling Scheme 2023. This scheme was started with the objective of helping people afford these essential cylinders. Under this scheme, eligible families will receive a subsidized amount ₹275 each time on refillling their gas cylinders. Plus, they will get sugar at a subsidised rate.
To avail the advantage of this scheme you should be a permanent resident of the Goa and an AAY Ration Card Holder. A beneficiary can avail of the benefits only once a month.
