Widow Pension Scheme Manipur:-
The state government has introduced the Manipur Widow Pension Scheme 2024 for all widow recipients. The widow beneficiaries of this Mukhyamantri Vidhwa Pension Yojana would receive Rs 500 each month from the state government. Widow Pension Scheme Manipur 2024
On November 2, 2021, Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh introduced the CM Widow Pension Scheme. The Manipur Vidhwa Pension Yojana would benefit 10,000 widows in total, and each widow recipient will get Rs 500 per month.
Vidhwa Pension Yojana Manipur Benefits Amount
The Manipur Widow Pension Scheme 2024 provides monthly pensions of Rs 500 to each widowed woman beneficiary. Chief Minister N Biren said that the Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme will receive contributions of Rs 300 from the central government and Rs 200 from the state government, for a total monthly contribution of Rs 500.
Eligibility Criteria
- Women who are over the age of 18 and who have lived permanently in Manipur for the past 1 year at the time of application submission.
- A yearly income should not be more than 2 lakh rupees.
- Any one of the three conditions are fulfilled:
- She is a widow, or
- Without a spouse, parents, and son, she is penniless: or
- She is destitute due to desertion or physical/mental incapacity of (a) Husband in case of married women; or (b) Parents in case of other women
- Despite the foregoing, anyone receiving a pension from a municipal or central statutory authority will not be qualified to receive an allowance under this program.
Required Documents
- Death Certificate of Husband ( in case of widow)
- F.I.R Copy of missing person’s report of the husband missing for the past 7 years.
- Destitute Certificate (in case of Destitute Women)
- Aadhaar Card
- Residential Proof:- Any one of the following documents for the domicile of Manipur issued before 15 years to the date of application will be accepted:-
- Ration Card
- Voter Card
- Name of applicant in Voter’s List.
- Pan Card
- Driving License
- Passport
- Electricity bill/ Water bill
- Documents of House and land
- Copy of LIC Policy
- Registered Rent Deed of House
- Permanent resident certificate of the state
- Bank account passbook photocopy.
