Police officers have been instructed to put in place a robust system to deal with the increasing cybercrime also special emphasis on the modernization of police is being considered by the Government of Jharkhand. A target has been set to start online cybercrime registration, capacity building, awareness building, and Research and Development units.

In Jharkhand, 4803 cybercrimes have been registered in the last 5 years. Out of which 1536 cases have been settled. This month, 355 criminals have been arrested in Jharkhand.
