  • Inmates of an orphanage will not get benefits under this scheme
  • The candidate is required to apply from the local body where he resides.
Indira Gandhi National old age pension
  • Candidates must be residents of Kerala for at least the last three years.
  • The age of the Candidate must be at least 60 years or above.
  • The Candidate should not possess property of more than 2 acres
  • The annual family income of the Candidate must not exceed 1 lakh rupees
  • Service pensioners or family pensioners could not receive benefits from the scheme
  • The Candidate must not be getting a pension from any other social welfare pension scheme.
  • Any kind of 4 or more-wheel vehicle with an engine capacity of more than 1000cc should not be owned by the Candidate.
  • If the candidate is in the protection of someone else then she cannot apply under the scheme
  • The inmate of the orphanage cannot get benefits under this scheme
  • The Candidates have to apply from the local body where they reside permanently
Indira Gandhi National disability pension scheme-physically/mentally challenged-80% or more disabled
  • Candidates must be residents of Kerala for at least the last three years.
  • Under this scheme, there is no age limit.
  • The Candidate should not possess property of more than 2 acres
  • The annual family income of the Candidate must not exceed 1 lakh rupees.
  • Service pensioners or family pensioners could not receive benefits from the scheme.
  • Candidates getting any other social welfare pension can also apply for this scheme(maximum two pensions including EPF)
  • Any kind of 4 or more-wheel vehicle with an engine capacity of more than 1000cc should not be owned by the Candidate.
  • If the candidate is in the protection of someone else then she cannot apply under the scheme
  • The inmate of the orphanage cannot get benefits under this scheme

Pension for unmarried women above 50 years of age
  • The candidates must be a permanent resident of Kerala
  • The applicant must be unmarried
  • The age of candidates must be at least 50 years or more
  • Unmarried mothers above 50 years of age can also apply

Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme
  • Candidates must be a permanent resident of Kerala for two consecutive years
  • There is no age limit under this scheme.
  • The candidate must not be receiving social security pensions from different local governments.
  • The inmate of Agati Mandir cannot apply.
  • Retirees of Central or state public sector undertakings cannot apply.
  • Recipients of salary or Pension of family pension from Central or other state government cannot apply.
  • The candidate should not be in the custody of anyone else.
  • the candidate must not possess a 4 or more-wheel vehicle having an engine capacity of more than 1000cc.
