Karnataka Gram One Center 

On 17 January 2022, the chief minister of Karnataka Shri Basavaraj Somappa Bommai started Karnataka Gram On Center. GramaOne is a single-point assistance center for all citizen-centric activities at the village level which includes G2C services. Grama One centers will be operational from 8 am to 8 pm on all seven days of the week.

The Karnataka Government is setting up Karnataka Gramone Centers all across Karnataka so that the rural residents of the state who do not know how to apply for any kind of services and scheme, with the assistance of the operator in the center can easily apply for the services like Seva Sindhu services, Sakala services, RTI services, CM Relief Fund, Micro Banking services, etc. They do not have to visit government offices.

Objective Of Gram One Center

The main objective of setting up Gram One Center is to provide government services online to the residents of Karnataka. Especially rural residents with the help of Gram one operators will be able to get services like Seva Sindhu services, Sakala services, RTI services,b CM Relief Fund, Micro Banking services, etc in one place they do not have to visit different government offices.

Benefits Of Gram One Center

• The government of Karnataka is establishing a Gram One Center for the rural residents of Karnataka.
• Employment opportunities are created at the village level.
• With the assistance of the Gram One Center operator, the residents will be able to get the services like banking, RTI, etc. They did not have to visit the district, taluk, and hobli offices to get government services.
• The processing time will be fast which will save time and money for the applicant.
• The operational timing of the Karnataka Gram One Portal is from 8AM to 8PM.
• Grama One service center will provide around 100 services related to the Revenue, Food, Health, and Labor Departments.

Eligibility Criteria 

• The minimum qualification of the applicant should be graduation in any discipline with computer knowledge.
• The applicant should be ready to invest up to Rs 1 to 2 lakhs.
• Selected Gram One Center operators will have to attach a PVC certificate.
• GramaOne centers should be located at prime locations with the internet, road, electricity, and other utilities.

Requirement For Setting Up Non-IT Infrastructure Karnataka Gram One Center

• The Village Forest Center setting up the franchise should have a special division with a special entry.
• GramaOne centers with one Counter should be at least 100 Sq. ft. and 4 chairs should be available for Customers to sit.
• Branding should be as per GramaOne project branding standards (name board/price chart/building color/monogram of GramaOne).
• Franchisees should keep their premises clean and tidy.
• The room should have tile/granite flooring, an RCC roof, and brick cement/stone cement walls without any water leakages from any side.
• The room should have good ventilation and lighting and there should be good space for outside parking, display board, etc.
• The furniture in the Gram One Center should be as specified by Gramone.
• The franchisee should preferably be equipped with CCTV surveillance and LCD TV.

Requirement For Setting Up IT Infrastructure Karnataka Gram One Center

• Desktop /Laptop ( above i3 Configuration).
• Multi-Function Printer(Print/Scan).
• Bio Metric scanner (Secugen Hamster Pro 20).
• Web Camera.
• Wi-Fi Receiver.
• Should be provided with internet connectivity from two different Internet Service Providers (ISPs) so as to ensure that services are not affected due to connectivity issues.

How To Track Application Status?

• First of all, you have to visit the official website of the Karnataka Gram One Center.

• If you have a problem reading Kannada then you can change it to English.
• On the top right side of the web page, you have to click on English.
•  Now the web page will be translated into English.
• Now you have to click track application status.
• Enter you to track the application status of the revenue department then enter the application number or if you want to track the application status of any other department then click on track your application status.
