Karnataka Epass Scholarship 2023
Karnataka Government has started various scholarship schemes for the students of states, according to their economic conditions. There are many meritorious students who are unable to continue their education due to financial problems. So Karnataka government is providing scholarships to economically backward students based on their academic performance and economic condition and caste. Through these scholarships, students will get a chance to pursue their post-graduation and be able to uplift their economic status.

Pratibha Puruskar Scholarship Scheme
The scheme is for those students who are in class 12, undergraduate and diploma, and have secured 90% or more in the previous year’s examinations and going to take admission in under-graduation or post-graduation courses.

Eligibility Criteria
For Post Matric Scholarship
To apply for Post Matric Scholarship, the applicant has to fulfill the following eligibility criteria.
- The applicant should be a resident of Karnataka.
- Post-matriculation level of education are eligible to apply for the Karnataka Post-Matric Scholarship (PMS)
- The annual income of the applicant’s family should be less than Rs 1.50 lakhs (for Category 1) and INR 2 Lakhs (for 2A, 3A, and 3B categories).
For Food & Accommodation Scholarship (FAAS)
To apply for Food & Accommodation Scholarship (FAAS), the applicant has to fulfill the following eligibility criteria.
- The applicant should be a resident of Karnataka.
- Matriculation-level students in government/government-aided / housing colleges can apply for this scheme.
- The annual income of the applicant’s family should be less than Rs 2.50 lakhs (for Category 1) and INR 5 Lakhs (for 2A, 3A, and 3B categories).
For Fee Concession (FC) Scheme
To apply for the Fee Concession (FC) Scheme), the applicant has to fulfill the following eligibility criteria.
- The applicant should be a resident of Karnataka.
- Students pursuing PG Courses apply for the ePASS Karnataka Scholarship.
- The annual income of the applicant’s family should be less than Rs 2.50 lakhs (for Category 1) and INR 5 Lakhs (for 2A, 3A, and 3B categories).
Documents Required
The following documents are required at the time of applying for the Epass Scholarships Karnataka:
- Aadhar Card of Father/Mother/Guardian.
- Residential Certificate.
- Income Certificate.
- Caste Certificate.
- Bank Pass Book.
- Bonafide Certificate of the Respective College.
- SSLC Certificate.

Application Procedure Of Epass Karnataka Scholarship
To apply for Epass Scholarship Karnataka, then you have to follow the following procedure.
- First of all, you have to visit the official website of the Epass Karnataka Scholarship.
- Now on the home page, you have to click on Student Zone.
- Select the scholarship for which you want to apply.
- Now an application form will be open.
- Fill in all the details asked in the application form carefully.
- Upload the documents asked for in the application.
- After uploading documents and filling in all the details, click on submit.
- Now take out the printout of the application form,
- Now attach all the documents with the application form and submit it to the concerned district Taluk Office.
How To Check Application Status
- First of all, you have to visit the official website of the Epass Karnataka Scholarship.
- Now on the home page, you have to click on Student Services and then click on Application Status.
- Now enter your Application Number, Academic Year, SSLC Pass Type, Year of Pass, SSLC Register Number, and Date of Birth.
- Then click on GetStatus.
Procedure To Know Application Number
- First of all, you have to visit the official website of the Epass Karnataka Scholarship.
- Now on the home page, you have to click on Student Services then click on Know Your Application Number.
- Now a new form will be open.
- Now fill in all the details asked in the form.
- To know about scholarship details click on Get Scholarship Details.
- To Know about Hostel details click on Get Hostel Details.
- And the required details will be on your screen.
How To Download Pratibha Acknowledgement
- First of all, you have to visit the official website of the Epass Karnataka Scholarship.
- Now on the home page, you have to click on Student Services then click on Pratibha Acknowledgment.
- Now enter the Application Reference Number, SSLC Pass type, SSLC Registration Number, SSLC Pass Year, and Date of Birth.
- Now you will get 2 options. Download Acknowledgement and Application Verification Status.
- To download acknowledgment, click on Download Acknowledgement.
- And to verify the application status, Click on Application Verified Status.
- Now required data will be on your screen.
Procedure To Check Hostel Application Status
- First of all, you have to visit the official website of the Epass Karnataka Scholarship.
- Now on the home page, you have to click on Student Services and then click on Hostel Application Status.
- Now enter your Application Number, Date Of Birth, and Captcha code, and Click on GetStatus.
- Now the Hostel Application Status will be on your screen.
