Under the Scheme, financial assistance of Rs 75000 will be provided to women satisfying the eligibility criteria. The scheme covers the permanent residents of Andhra Pradesh and the women must fall between 45 and 60 years of age. This financial amount will be transferred to the recipient’s bank accounts directly.

The government has also decided on the number of installments in which the assistance will be provided. The assistance is divided into four installments. The assistance of Rs 18750 will be given to the applicants each year.

The objective of the Cheyutha Scheme is

  • The assistance of Rs 75000 will be provided by the Government of Andhra Pradesh to women belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, or Minorities.
  • The scheme aims to motivate the women belonging to the backward class to move forward on the path of development with society by providing benefits and financial assistance.
  • The decided assistance amount i.e. 75,000 will be distributed to the recipients in four equal parts.

YSR Cheyutha Scheme New Updates

Through the scheme launched by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the government is providing financial assistance of Rs 75000 to women above 45 years of age. The benefit of this scheme will be given till the age of 60 years. The beneficiary can spend this financial amount provided by the government as per his wish. Financial funds are provided directly by the government to the beneficiary’s bank accounts. This amount is provided in four years. An amount of Rs 18750 is provided each year.

A budget of Rs 17000 crore has been kept by the government for the implementation of this scheme. The main objective of the government to start this scheme is to strengthen and empower the position of women in the state. About 23 lakh women from ST, BC, and minority communities will get the benefit of this scheme from the government.
